Hospitality Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing Hospitality Coordinator to join our team in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong computer skillset, and the ability to manage various hospitality-related tasks efficiently. This role requires working closely with volunteers, handling gift shop and bookstore operations, and managing A/V equipment to ensure a welcoming and smooth experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service through excellent telephone and verbal communication. Operate cash register and credit card machines accurately and efficiently. Manage gift shop and bookstore operations, including inventory and sales. Confidently set up and operate a variety of audio/visual equipment for events and presentations. Collaborate and work effectively with volunteers to support hospitality functions. Utilize strong computer skills to maintain records, schedules, and communications. Use MS Office applications proficiently for reporting, correspondence, and data management. Create a welcoming and friendly environment for guests and visitors. Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skillset with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Confident working with a variety of A/V equipment. Experience running cash registers and credit card machines. Familiarity with gift shop and bookstore operations.
