About the Company / Opportunity:
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join an award-winning dining destination located along the iconic coastline of Big Sur, CA within a five-star luxury resort. This is an incredible opportunity to lead front-of-house operations in a refined, guest-focused environment known for elevated dining experiences, seasonal offerings, and exceptional hospitality standards.

The ideal candidate is a passionate hospitality leader with a strong background in upscale or luxury dining environments. This individual should thrive in a hands-on leadership role, possess exceptional guest service skills, and have a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced setting. A strong appreciation for curated dining experiences, attention to detail, and personalized service is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily front-of-house restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless service execution
- Manage and mentor service teams, fostering a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and accountability
- Maintain elevated service standards in alignment with the resort’s luxury dining expectations
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, and daily floor operations to ensure operational efficiency
- Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure smooth communication and execution between FOH and BOH teams
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and ongoing development initiatives
- Handle guest relations and service recovery with professionalism and urgency
- Monitor labor costs, operational performance, and overall guest satisfaction metrics
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout all dining areas
