Summary

Eversight’s Business Systems Analyst is responsible for operational ownership, vendor management, administration, integration oversight, and continuous improvement of critical business applications. This position serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors, and IT, ensuring application stability, usability, data integrity, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Essential Job Functions

• Serve as application owner for critical operations application and related integrated enterprise applications.
• Oversee critical application development by vendor, co-ordinate releases, testing, deployments, and user communications.
• Oversee application configuration, administration, and access management and other related administrative duties.
• Respond to and manage support tickets, escalations, and co-ordinate with development/support teams on fixes and enhancements.
• Manage SQL data hygiene, validation and Support SQL based data validation and troubleshooting activities.
• SQL Query troubleshooting.
• Monitor application performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
• Manage application security and compliance.
• Maintain application documentation, procedures, and knowledge repositories.
• Coordinate application requirements across Operations teams.
• Partner with Analytics to ensure application data and requirements align with established enterprise data definitions and governance standards.
• Provide Tableau and data warehouse support to analytics teams including building dashboards and reports to drive actionable insights.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years supporting enterprise business applications. Strong experience managing vendor-supported software platforms. Management of application releases, testing, and user acceptance activities. Experience supporting reporting and analytics platforms such as Tableau or Power BI. Experience troubleshooting application, data, workflow, and integration issues across multiple systems. Validation of data quality and supporting data warehouse/reporting environments.

Skills: Proficiency with T-SQL, including the ability to write queries for troubleshooting, validation, and root-cause analysis (SELECT queries, JOINS, Aggregations, Reading views, understanding stored procedures). Tracing data movement, investigating discrepancies, validating records, understanding source-to-report flow. Ability to translate business issues into detailed technical requirements and vendor support cases.

Knowledge: Knowledge of SDLC and industry-wide best practices and standards. Working knowledge of APIs, data integrations, authentication, and application architecture concepts, SSO familiarity and batch file processing.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Work is performed in a normal office environment and remotely. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to sit for long periods of time. Movements such as sitting, standing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, twisting, and bending are sometimes required. Lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 pounds may be required. Regular local and overnight travel is required. Use of personal vehicle is required when traveling within service area. Routine use of computer. Limited noise, room temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
