Artemis Real Estate Partners, a Barings company ("Artemis") has retained Leo Search Partners to identify and recruit an experienced Legal Operations Manager/Paralegal("Legal Ops Manager"). This role is an integral member of Artemis’ legal team, with primary responsibility for corporate and entity governance, transaction coordination and assistance, and team operations support across Artemis’ investment platforms and legal entities. Working closely with the Artemis’ in‑house attorneys, Finance & Accounting, and investment teams, this role will manage corporate records and organizational charts, maintain and coordinate entity health and filings across Artemis’ legal entities, support multi-asset transaction closings nationally through checklist and document management, and assist with legal team administration and legal operational support. This role will collaborate with both internal stakeholders and outside counsel and will help evaluate which entity‑management tasks are best handled in‑house versus by external providers. Reporting to a senior member of Artemis’ Legal team while collaborating and supporting the entire transactional legal group. The successful candidate must be highly organized, dependable, communicative, proactive, and skilled in adapting to and managing rapidly changing priorities with ease. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Transaction Coordination & Closing Support Provide full legal transactional support for JV’s, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings by maintaining transaction checklists and document folders for multi‑asset and complex deal processes, track outstanding items ensuring timely follow‑through across deal teams and counterparties. Assist in entity formation, including drafting and managing LLC agreements, secretary certificates, and operating agreements. Coordinate with lender’s counsel, title companies and internal stakeholders to ensure timely transaction execution. Assist in drafting SNDAs, estoppels, confidentiality agreements, organizational documents, resolutions, and consents. Scan, index, and distribute fully executed documents; oversee storage of originals in the Company’s designated safe‑deposit box, maintaining an up‑to‑date inventory of hard‑copy originals. Lead organization and maintenance of closing binders and other final transaction documentation, ensuring documents are saved to the correct folders, properly labeled, and easily searchable. Team Administrative & Operational Support Assist with maintenance and organization of forms and internal training materials. Create and maintain searchable NDA clause library. Assist with discrete research projects (e.g., tracking relevant legislative and regulatory developments) Assist with coordination and completion of KYC forms and related requests. Maintain internal lists of preferred outside counsel, local counsel, and other transaction service providers. Support team expense management, meeting scheduling, and coordination across internal stakeholders and external parties. Maintain and organize internal legal forms, templates, and process documentation; propose improvements to workflows to drive efficiency and consistency. Help the Company assess which entity‑management tasks should be performed internally versus by outside counsel, documenting recommendations and evolving processes over time. Insurance, Litigation & Calendar Coordination Manage legal calendar for insurance and litigation matters, including tracking deadlines, coordinating broker communications, and organizing information and materials for supervising attorneys. Coordinate with deal teams and Finance & Accounting on outstanding legal invoices, including tracking accruals, reconciling invoices, and flagging discrepancies to supervising attorneys. Entity Management & Governance Maintain and update comprehensive organizational charts for Artemis and its investment vehicles, ensuring accuracy across funds, joint ventures, and holding companies. Coordinate entity formations, qualifications, and good‑standing maintenance (including annual reports and franchise tax filings), working with outside counsel and corporate service providers as appropriate. Oversee accurate filing, naming, and storage of entity and governance documentation in the appropriate Box folders and shared drives, ensuring consistency, version control, and searchability. Manage the relationship with CSC (or comparable registered agent / corporate services provider), including ordering good standings, handling service of process notices, and monitoring entity calendars. Coordinate with Finance & Accounting on W‑9s, EINs, and other tax‑identification documentation, including coordinating closely with internal stakeholders as needed. Interface with Barings’ internal stakeholders on entity‑related questions, information requests, and process alignment.

KEY ATTRIBUTES / EXPERIENCE

Relevant Legal Ops Manager, paralegal, and/or legal operations project management experience, preferably in a transaction‑oriented environment; commercial real estate background helpful but not required for the right candidate. Excellent attention to detail – accuracy is critical to success. Strong organizational skills; able to meet deadlines, set priorities and track deadlines independently and with minimal direction. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proactive and ability to manage competing priorities while keeping leadership and team informed. Self‑motivated individual who can effectively collaborate as a team member, while taking ownership of assignments from inception through completion. “Can do” individual with a “growth mindset” who prioritizes the overall team’s success. Strong ability to create efficient systems and optimize existing processes, create/implement playbooks as needed. Ability to effectively prioritize competing projects and adapt to changing priorities with calm and ease. Collegial and dependable. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 6–8+ years of relevant law‑firm or in‑house Legal Ops Manager and/or Paralegal experience; candidates with 20+ years of experience who prioritize work‑life balance are also encouraged to apply. Bachelor’s degree required. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Box, and DocuSign; experience with corporate service portals (e.g., CSC) a plus.
