Position Summary The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the designated shift. Working alongside the management team, the CNL oversees, monitors, and evaluates nursing care based on established standards. This role serves as a vital resource for staff, embodying the organization’s vision and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and outstanding clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to enhance patient flow and care quality. Engage in ongoing assessments of the quality of patient care services, collaborating with the management team. Foster teamwork and improved service outcomes by collaborating with experts and managers. Uphold a patient-first philosophy and actively participate in service recovery when necessary. Enhance engagement by implementing nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds. Provide insights on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff while managing performance and compliance. Assist in scheduling and managing staff labor in alignment with patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Support inventory control and management of supplies and equipment. Qualifications Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment. NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 90 days of hire. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training required within 30 days of hire. Trauma Nursing Core Course must be completed within 1 year of employment. Registered Nurse (RN) license is essential. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be secured within 90 days of hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. PALS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date. A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience is required.
