We are seeking dedicated mental health therapists to join our multidisciplinary team and provide high-quality individual, family, and group psychotherapy through in-person and telehealth services.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related qualifying behavioral health discipline.

• Current South Carolina professional license or associate-level license appropriate to the position, such as LPC, LPC-A, LISW-CP, LMFT, or licensed psychologist.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment-planning, and therapeutic skills within the clinician's authorized scope of practice.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

• Ability to deliver effective telehealth services and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

Preferred:

• At least one year of clinical experience providing psychotherapy.

• Experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders.

• Experience with alcohol use disorder, opioid use disorder, or other substance use treatment.

• Training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based interventions.

• Experience serving children, adolescents, families, or rural and underserved populations.

• Additional addiction counseling credentials, such as LAC or other applicable certification.

Associate-level clinicians will be considered when appropriate supervision and applicable payer requirements can be met.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment and Treatment

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family psychotherapy within the clinician's scope of practice.

• Monitor treatment progress and adjust interventions based on patient needs and clinical outcomes.

• Provide crisis assessment, safety planning, and appropriate referrals in accordance with established clinical protocols.

Integrated Care and Collaboration

• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care clinicians, and other members of the treatment team.

• Coordinate referrals and care with appropriate community resources.

• Support patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

• Participate in clinically appropriate care coordination and interdisciplinary consultation.

Documentation and Compliance

• Complete clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other required documentation accurately and within established deadlines.

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, professional licensing standards, and applicable organizational policies.

• Participate in quality improvement, training, and professional development activities as applicable to the position.

Schedule and Work Environment

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

• Hybrid in-person and telehealth arrangements may be available based on patient needs and clinic operations.

• Clinical schedules and on-site expectations will be discussed during the hiring process.

• Evening and/or weekend availability is welcomed but not required unless specified for the position.

Compensation and Employment Opportunities

BIA Healthcare offers full-time, part-time, and qualifying independent contractor opportunities.

W-2 Employment

• Associate-Level Therapists: $25-32 per hour

• Independently Licensed Therapists: $32-42 per hour

1099 Independent Contractor Opportunities

• Independently Licensed Therapists: Negotiated per-session compensation or percentage of collected reimbursement.

Compensation is based on licensure, qualifications, clinical experience, and the applicable employment or contractual arrangement. Full compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
