Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a travel assignment in San Marcos, TX. This role requires a competent nurse who practices independently and can manage both routine and complex care. The position involves working in a dynamic environment, contributing to long-range goals, and managing clinical situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies
• Provide nursing care utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications, monitor for side-effects, and document effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
