Job Description

The Cleanroom Technician supports production operations by safely handling materials, assisting with assembly processes, and helping execute coating procedures in a structured, safety-focused environment. This role ensures parts move efficiently through the facility, receive proper coating and assembly, and meet quality standards before progressing to the next stage of production.

Responsibilities

• Move coils, radiator parts, and metal components throughout the facility using carts, pallet jacks, or hoists while following all safety and handling procedures.
• Assist with assembly operations by fastening components, staging parts, preparing materials, and supporting assembly lines to maintain steady production flow.
• Support coating processes by loading and unloading parts for spray or dip-coating, ensuring proper placement, and assisting with drying and curing operations.
• Inspect parts for defects, verify proper coating coverage, and confirm correct assembly before parts move to the next production stage.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly to complete assigned tasks in material handling, assembly, and coating support.
• Follow established safety rules, participate in pre-task safety checks, and report any hazards, equipment issues, or quality concerns promptly.
• Comply with all lockout/tagout procedures, machine guarding requirements, and pre-shift equipment inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in onboarding and ongoing training related to equipment use, chemical handling (if applicable), emergency procedures, and safe lifting techniques.

Essential Skills

• Experience performing general labor tasks in a production, construction, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• production or assembly work, including handling metal components.
• Capability to perform material handling tasks such as moving coils, radiator parts, and metal components using carts, pallet jacks, or hoists.
• Attention to detail when performing visual inspections for defects, coating coverage, and assembly accuracy.
• Commitment to following safety procedures, including PPE use, equipment checks, and hazard reporting.
• Ability to follow clear procedures and work instructions in a structured, safety-focused environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move parts, and perform repetitive tasks safely.

• Experience working in a production or manufacturing setting with strong safety practices.
• Familiarity with concrete work or construction environments that involve general labor and tool usage.
• Comfort working with coating processes such as spray or dip-coating under guidance and training.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training related to equipment, safety procedures, and process updates.
• Strong communication skills to speak up about hazards and collaborate with supervisors and coworkers on safety and quality.

Work Environment

The role operates in a production environment with a strong safety culture and clear, established procedures. The standard shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., requiring consistent attendance and reliability. Employees are expected to follow all safety rules, participate in pre-task checks, and actively look out for one another. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and job-specific gear is required and verified before starting work. The facility uses equipment and machinery that are subject to lockout/tagout procedures, machine guarding, and pre-shift inspections to ensure tools and machines function properly. New hires receive structured onboarding covering equipment use, chemical handling (if applicable), emergency procedures, and safe lifting techniques, with ongoing refresher training to keep everyone aligned and working safely

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
