Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Radiation Therapist eager to contribute expertise in a dynamic radiation oncology environment. This position offers a 13-week contract with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (T) certification required
• Active BLS through the American Heart Association
• Experience with Varian radiation therapy equipment preferred
• Will consider recent graduates enthusiastic to apply their skills
• Strong communication abilities and patient-centered mindset necessary

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments in accordance with oncologist prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and patient safety throughout each session
• Conduct planning and targeting imaging to support individualized radiation therapy plans
• Assess patients prior to simulation and treatment to ensure readiness and accurate delivery of care
• Provide ongoing patient education to address questions and support understanding of treatment steps and expectations
• Carry out CT Simulation duties, including:
  • Creating high-quality immobilization and treatment devices tailored to each patient
  • Operating the CT scanner and MED RAD power injector to ensure efficient, accurate imaging with IV contrast
  • Analyzing cross-sectional images to assist in treatment planning and delivery
  • Performing blood draws as needed during the simulation process

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
