Desired Skills & Experience:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent training in CVOR technology
• Recent, relevant experience within a cardiovascular operating room
• Strong understanding of surgical instrumentation for cardiac and vascular procedures
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Adaptability to varying case loads and facility protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for open heart and vascular surgeries
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during complex CVOR procedures
• Ensure sterility and availability of all required instruments and supplies
• Monitor and manage surgical equipment pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Support orientation of new staff or travelers as needed
• Adhere strictly to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards
