CNC MACHINE OPERATOR – 1ST SHIFT
Abundant Solutions | Plano, TX
Abundant Solutions is seeking experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operators for a 1st shift opportunity in Plano, TX.
This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on CNC experience who are comfortable working in a structured, quality-focused manufacturing environment. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to follow established procedures and production standards.
Pay
$21.00+ per hour – Depending on Experience
Schedule
Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Horizontal CNC and RoboDrill machines
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary machine and tooling adjustments
- Input, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs, including G-code or similar programming
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment to verify part quality
- Monitor tooling and machining processes for quality and consistency
- Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors and team members
Requirements
- Previous CNC machine operating experience
- Horizontal CNC and/or RoboDrill experience preferred
- Experience with HAAS, FANUC, or similar controls preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
- Basic understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Must be comfortable working in a structured and procedure-driven environment
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
Additional Requirements
- English communication required
- Clean background required
- U.S. citizenship required due to the nature and federal requirements associated with the position
- Must successfully complete the client's required screening and hiring process
