Position Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout examinations by clearly explaining procedures
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and other referring physicians to ensure high-quality imaging
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and manage patient records within our electronic system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices

Qualifications

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field, either an Associate's or Bachelor's
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography training program is preferred

Certifications Necessary

• A current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) coverage is preferred
