Production Supervisor 2nd shift

Job Title

Uphold a safe, professional, and nurturing workplace atmosphere for all staff members while coordinating and guiding production operators and group leaders at every level to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to scheduled due dates.

Schedule: 3:00 pm to 11:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mandate compliance with company policies.
• Possess the capability to engage in employee recruitment and termination processes.
• Conduct in-depth investigations and facilitate the resolution of personnel matters, in collaboration with Human Resources support when necessary.
• Oversee product quality assurance through vigilant supervision of adherence to established procedural process instructions.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations of production staff as mandated.
• Validate the accuracy of hours allocated for payroll processing.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager, Planning and VST (Value Stream Team) Program Managers to furnish project status updates and address job-related challenges.
• Ensure the timely fulfillment of scheduled production due dates.
• Monitor and verify the attainment of time standards by each operator.
• Cross Train Employee
• Perform Daily Management Task
• Other Duties assigned

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
