Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Indiana

Start Date: August 1, 2026

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (1900-0730). Self-scheduling format with three weekend shifts required per four-week schedule (Friday-Saturday for nights). Block scheduling accommodated when possible based on unit needs.

Highlights:

• Dedicated ICU assignment with no required floating to medical floors; minimal floating to stepdown unit as needed
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, occasionally 1:3
• Diverse case mix including respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB critical care patients
• Electronic medical records managed through Cerner system
• 36-bed private room ICU, typically utilizing 24 beds
• Assignment length flexible; limited shift cancellation policy applies

Requirements:

• Active Indiana RN license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Critical care nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location
• BSN preferred but not required
