Make a meaningful impact supporting students in grades K–12 for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity is based near Glorieta, NM, and offers the chance to work closely with children across a variety of backgrounds and abilities, from moderate to profound communication needs. Caseload assignments will be tailored based on your professional experience and preference, ensuring a great fit for your expertise.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Prior experience in pediatric, early childhood, or elementary school environments strongly preferred
- Experience or interest in moderate to profound caseloads
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage documentation efficiently and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K–12 students in both group and individual settings
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and parents to support student goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive care plans
- Maintain detailed and timely records in accordance with district policies
