Director Of Human ResourcesAmanaCare is seeking a strategic, dependable Director of Human Resources to lead the people systems that support our statewide team. This role supports AmanaCare and its people by ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining an audit-ready workforce, administering consistent employment practices, and guiding leaders through complex employee matters. The Director will partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Directors, and Directors of Operations while preserving each DOO's ownership of their branch and team.AmanaCare is a faith-based home care organization whose mission is grounded in honoring the God-given dignity of every person. The Director of Human Resources will play a key role in cultivating a workplace culture that reflects these values while supporting organizational growth and accountability.The right person will combine sound HR judgment with strong operational follow-through. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for payroll administration, workforce compliance, workplace standards and risk management, and the employee experience across a growing, multi-location home-care organization.Key responsibilities:Payroll and benefits administrationWorkforce compliance and personnel recordsWorkplace standards systems and risk managementEmployee experience retention and cultureRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a closely related field.Current SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or comparable nationally recognized HR certification.At least five years of progressive professional HR experience, including at least two years managing an HR function or serving in an HR leadership role.Hands-on experience administering or overseeing payroll for a multi-employee organization.Demonstrated experience with employee investigations, policy administration, corrective action, leave and accommodation processes, and employment compliance.Strong written communication, discretion, judgment, organization, and follow-through.Ability to work full-time from AmanaCare's Lincoln office and collaborate effectively with leaders across multiple Nebraska territories.Preferred qualificationsExperience with Paylocity or a comparable HRIS and payroll platform.Experience supporting a multi-location, healthcare, home-care, or other highly regulated workforce.Experience managing high-volume hourly payroll, garnishments, credential tracking, and personnel-file audits.Experience creating employee-experience, retention, recognition, or leadership-development programs.About AmanaCareThe word Amana means "faithfulness, loyalty, constancy, devotion, integrity, trust."
