Accounting Coordinator – Fully Remote

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support a high-volume, multi-entity accounting environment with operations across the U.S. and Europe. This is a fully remote, hands-on opportunity with broad exposure to bank reconciliations, AP, AR, cash applications, payroll support, and general accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Bank Reconciliations & General Accounting

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for six bank accounts
• Manage high-volume accounting entries and postings
• Support month-end close activities
• Process transactions in both USD and Euros
• Perform account clean-up and research discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities

Accounts Receivable

• Process and apply cash receipts
• Support order-to-cash workflows
• Track customer payments and maintain AR accuracy
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies

Accounts Payable

• Process bill payments and vendor transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate AP processing
• Assist with vendor account reconciliations as needed

Payroll Support

• Pull and verify employee hours from VMS systems to support payroll processing
• Review payroll-related information for accuracy
• Identify and escalate discrepancies as needed

Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate with internal teams across U.S. and European operations
• Assist with accounting projects and process improvements
• Support additional accounting functions as needed

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting experience, including AP, AR, cash applications, and bank reconciliations
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is required
• Experience working in a high-volume accounting environment
• Understanding of foreign currency transactions, particularly EUR/USD
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote environment
• Payroll or VMS experience is a plus
