In Childrens South Specialty Clinics at Children's South Hoover Work schedule will be Part-time Benefits Ineligible on the Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (varies). Summary Works under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide assistive care and communication for patients and their families in outpatient specialty clinics, as well as support for team members, professional and technical staff, and visitors. Provides safe, age-appropriate care and contributes to efficient clinic operations. Candidate must have at least one of the following: Six months of patient care experience within the last two years. Enrolled in a medical related college program and in clinical rotation. CNA,CMA, PCT or EMT certification. Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications Essential: Basic Life Support Education with Equivalent Qualifications Essential: High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent Experience with Equivalent Qualifications Nonessential: 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Patient Care Support or any of the following equivalent qualifications below: Certified Nursing Assistant Certified Medical Assistant AAMA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certified Medical Assistant ARMA Certified Patient Care Technician Certified Emergency Medical Technician ADPH Schedule Various hours within Monday through Friday Daytime hours, Day Shift, Monday-Friday Standard Days #J-18808-Ljbffr
