Job Title: Housekeeper (PRN)

Location: Ridgeview, 4447 Gibsonia Rd

Pay: $15 per hour

Position Overview: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the facility. This role is essential for supporting the overall health and well-being of our clients by ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to create a recovery-oriented atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean facility by performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as needed.
• Clean all public and staff restrooms and public areas (front office, conference room, hallways, and steps) regularly.
• Clean all rooms and bathrooms daily, including the hall, nurses’ station, and exam room.
• Clean personal offices weekly.
• Empty trash daily from all areas of the facility.
• Clean laundry rooms and dryer filters bi-weekly.
• Refill paper towel, soap, and toilet paper dispensers as needed.
• Clean baseboards, radiators, and windows seasonally.
• Wet mop all floors regularly.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Required Qualifications / Education, Licensure, & Experience:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear and regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and use hands to handle cleaning objects and equipment. The employee may occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: This position operates in a healthcare and residential environment. Employees may interact with individuals experiencing behavioral health or substance use-related conditions and may encounter exposure to cleaning chemicals and other materials in the work environment.
