Welder - 1st shift

Title: Welder 
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 
Salary: $25-35/hr + OT
Requirements: Strong Mechanical/Electrical background; stamping press experience 

1st shift - (6:00am - 2:30pm)

 

We are a leading manufacturer specializing in the design and production of high-quality, industrial-grade tie-rod and custom-engineered hydraulic cylinders used across the fluid power industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Welder to support our production operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with MIG and TIG welding and is capable of working to ASME standards.

 

What You Will Be Doing

• Set up and operate welding equipment; successfully obtain welding certifications
• Perform MIG and TIG welding to ASME standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain equipment and organized work areas
• Track job assignments through proper scanning procedures
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
• Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support other departments as needed

 

What You Need for this Position

• Welding certification (preferred)
• MIG and TIG welding experience required
• Experience with robotic/automated welding (plus)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
