This position participates in our compensation program, which provides opportunities for future pay growth based on performance and career development.401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%Hotel discounts at select Western States Lodging & Management propertiesMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans plus Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsOptional supplemental benefits, including accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and other coverage options.Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefitsWhat You'll DoAssist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.Assist residents with ambulation, mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.Take and report vital signs and communicate changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.Assist with medications as permitted by training, certification, and state regulations.Provide companionship, conversation, socialization, and emotional support to residents.Help maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas, including changing bed linens and assisting with light housekeeping.Follow care plans, company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.What Makes You SuccessfulCurrent CNA certification or successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program, as required by applicable state regulations.Current CPR certification.High school diploma or equivalent preferred; candidates working toward completion may be considered.Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or caregiving is helpful, but we welcome candidates with 0–1 year of experience.A compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to follow instructions, work within established policies and procedures, and collaborate as part of a team.A strong understanding of personal safety, proper lifting techniques, and when to ask for assistance.Ability to provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and team members.Physical RequirementsThis position requires frequent walking and standing, as well as regular bending, stooping, sitting, reaching, and other physical movement. Team members must be able to safely use proper body mechanics and lifting techniques to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, and push or pull residents or equipment weighing more than 100 pounds for short durations, with assistance when appropriate.
