Finance Manager

Job Summary This position is responsible for the oversight of several functional areas such as profit management, financial forecasting, and reporting. It provides insight and analysis of financial operating results, identifies trends, and recommends actions to improve profitability through revenue, margin, expense, and working capital management. Responsibilities Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects. Determine key drivers of variances versus last year results. Identify underperforming customers and vendors and their profitability drivers. Make recommendations to management to improve profitability and support annual operating plan (AOP) reporting. Analyze key expense drivers and variances compared to last year and to plan. Ensure overall trends and impacts of key initiatives are accurately reflected in forecasts. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics required (MBA/CPA preferred). Experience : At least 5 years of financial analyst and/or accounting experience required. Skills : Organizational, time‑management, critical thinking; strong computer skills and knowledge of financial reporting software. Decision Making Authority Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills and broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Play a key role in the annual AOP process. Most important decisions are made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors. Responsibilities include recruiting and training finance associates and managing their performance and development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
