Description

What You'll Do

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for accuracy or damage
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, etc.)
• Maintain and update inventory records and shipping/receiving systems
• Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule shipments
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing goods to ensure compliance with standards
• Perform accurate data entry related to shipments and inventory
• Order and maintain shipping and receiving supplies
• Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient material flow
• Operate office equipment and shipping carrier systems
• Safely operate a forklift (valid certification required)
• Perform additional duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• 12 years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to perform basic math (including fractions and decimals)
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or on a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Forklift experience and valid certification

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. (team lift for heavier items)
• Push/pull carts and operate material handling equipment
• Bend, stoop, reach, and kneel regularly
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise, and dust
• Safely operate a forklift and other equipment
