If you're passionate about mental health, value teamwork, and want a role where empathy, advocacy, and professional growth are truly supported, North Alabama Shoals Hospital is the place to grow your nursing career.A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs).Assesses learning needs and delivers age-/culture-appropriate patient and family education.Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Participates in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.Performs other duties as assigned.Schedule: 3 x 12 Full Time- Days 7am-7pmApplicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferredBasic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire.Requires one year of nursing experience.We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
