Senior Tax Accountant Los Angeles County , CA Contract To Hire Tax $45/HR to $55/HR 08/21/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Taxto jointheir team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.Expected starting pay rate of $45.00 to $55.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Support tax compliance activities by preparing filings, schedules, and supporting documentation for various tax reporting requirements. Assist with tax audits by gathering records, responding to information requests, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with accounting, finance, and advisory teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance. Evaluate existing tax processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and reporting accuracy. Support implementation and utilization of tax technology solutions to streamline workflows and reporting processes. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of corporate tax, public accounting, or related tax compliance experience. Previous experience with domestic and multinational income tax reporting and compliance activities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience using tax preparation software, financial systems, and reporting tools. Qualifications: Previous background withinpublic accounting. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) ispreferred. Familiarity with ASC 740 and related tax accounting concepts. Prior experience with enterprise tax, ERP, fixed asset, or business intelligence systems. Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
