Role Description The Internet Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Portland, OR. This position focuses on responding promptly and professionally to online inquiries, emails, and chat messages from prospective and current customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing digital leads, scheduling test drives and appointments, providing accurate vehicle and pricing information, and guiding customers through the online buying process. The Internet Sales Specialist collaborates with the sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, maintains detailed records in CRM systems, and follows up consistently to build strong relationships and meet sales targets. The role also involves learning and promoting current MINI offers, using dealership tools and e-commerce platforms, and participating in ongoing training to stay current on products and best practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and creating positive online and in-person experiences. Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead follow-up, appointment setting, consultative selling, and meeting or exceeding sales goals. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to explain technical and pricing information simply. Candidates should possess E-Commerce and digital proficiency, including comfort working with online sales tools, CRM systems, dealership websites, and basic data entry. Candidates should possess Training-related skills, such as openness to ongoing learning, applying product and process training, and sharing best practices with teammates. Relevant additional qualifications include prior experience in automotive sales or retail sales, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
