Custodian

CustodianUnder the direction and working in concert with the Environmental Services Supervisor, and custodian lead, the custodian cleans facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as unlocking/locking entrance doors. Takes initiative and direct action to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas.This position is not eligible for hybrid work and requires 100% onsite work.Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needsMaintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and iceUtilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclablesMonitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entitiesMaintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as neededDepartment: Facilities, Planning and Management is committed to promoting respect and civility in the workplace.
