As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.47 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM; Tue 09:45 PM - 06:15 AM; Wed 09:45 PM - 06:15 AM; Sun 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, laboratories, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and traffic flow in accordance with site-specific procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: One or more years of security-related experience is required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
