Compensation:   Approximately $350,000 annually + Comprehensive Benefits

She Recruits is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a respected healthcare organization seeking a  Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician or PM&R Physician to serve as  Medical Director of an established inpatient rehabilitation program in  Aiken, South Carolina .

• Typical onsite commitment of approximately 5–6 hours per day

• APP support available for higher patient volumes

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical management for rehabilitation patients.
\n
• Conduct admissions, follow-up evaluations, and ongoing medical management.
\n
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management, and hospital leadership.
\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
\n
• Provide Medical Director oversight while maintaining an active clinical practice.
\n
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
\n
• Support regulatory compliance and rehabilitation program excellence.

• MD or DO
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:\n
  \n
  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R),  or
  \n
  • Internal Medicine
  \n
\n
• Active South Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
\n
• Active DEA registration
\n
• Strong communication and leadership skills
\n

\n
• Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience
\n
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) rounding experience
\n
• Post-acute care experience
\n
• Previous Medical Director or physician leadership experience
\n
