Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sauté Cook to join our kitchen team. The Sauté Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items using sauté techniques while maintaining high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency. This role requires strong multitasking skills and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items using sauté techniques according to recipes and company standards Manage the sauté station during service, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of dishes Maintain proper cooking temperatures and presentation for all plates leaving the kitchen Assist with prep work, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients Keep the sauté station clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Assist with inventory and notify management when supplies are low Qualifications Previous experience as a Sauté Cook, Line Cook, or similar kitchen position preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and timing Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders during busy service periods Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Skills Experience with sauces, pasta dishes, seafood, and sautéed vegetables Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to maintain consistency and quality under pressure What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement A professional and team-oriented kitchen environment Consistent scheduling By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
