Part Time Administrative Assistant, My Generation Energy Oct 2, 2026 · @Andrew Wade About the Role My Generation Energy, Inc. (MGE) is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant to keep our Hyannis office running smoothly. You will be the first voice many customers hear, the person who keeps the office stocked and organized, and a reliable support for our sales, service, and project teams. MGE is a Cape Cod based solar development and installation company serving homeowners, businesses, and municipalities across Massachusetts. We design, install, and maintain solar systems, and we are a growing team that values people who are organized, friendly, and dependable. Key Responsibilities Phones and Front Desk Answer incoming calls professionally and route each caller to the right department: Sales, Service, or other teams as appropriate Take accurate messages and make sure they reach the right person promptly Greet visitors, vendors, and clients who come to the office Monitor and sort the general office email inbox and incoming mail Scheduling and Coordination Schedule internal meetings and manage shared calendars Send meeting reminders and confirmations to staff Book conference space and prepare the office for meetings Help coordinate company events, trainings, and visitor arrangements Office Supplies and Operations Track inventory of office supplies, kitchen items, and printer materials, and place orders as needed Keep the office, kitchen, and common areas organized and presentable Serve as the main point of contact for office contractors and vendors, including trash and recycling removal, cleaning services, deliveries, and building maintenance; schedule service and confirm work is completed Act as the office's telecommunications support person: manage the phone system, internet, and related service providers, troubleshoot basic issues, and coordinate with providers for repairs, changes, or new lines Report other equipment issues, such as printers and copiers, and follow through until resolved Administrative Support Data entry, filing, scanning, and keeping paper and digital records organized Prepare and format basic documents, letters, and spreadsheets Upload, organize, and maintain customer and project documents in MyGen Eclipse, MGE's internal software platform Support the team with occasional mailings, packages, and shipping Errands and Other Duties Run occasional errands such as picking up supplies, dropping off documents, or going to the post office or bank Perform other duties as assigned that are reasonably related to an administrative support role Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Friendly, professional phone manner and strong customer service skills Highly organized, reliable, and able to juggle several tasks at once Comfortable with email, calendars, and basic computer programs such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record for occasional errands Preferred One or more years of experience in an office, reception, or administrative role Familiarity with the solar, construction, or home services industries Experience with CRM or scheduling software Local to Cape Cod and familiar with the area Position Details Detail Position Administrative Assistant, part time Location In office, Hyannis, MA Hours 16 to 24 hours per week Reports to Chief Financial Officer Compensation To be determined My Generation Energy, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr My Generation Energy
