CNC Machinist

*Job Summary*
We are seeking skilled CNC Lathe and/or CNC Milling Machinist's to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate's will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience with CNC setup and operation. This role involves setting up CNC Lathes and/or Machine Centers to machine precision parts of all sizes and material types.

*Responsibilities*

* Setup and Operate CNC Machines and other related equipment to produce high-quality components.
* Machine parts to blueprint specifications using a supplied program and setup sheets.
* Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
* Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience as a CNC Set-Up Machinist with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
* Knowledge of some G and M codes.
* Experience with finding edges, setting up and touching off tooling.
* Experience with lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
* Ability to machine parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour
