*$500 Sign-on Bonus. You will receive $250 upon a successful 90 day completion and $250 upon 180 day completion of employment. Principle Responsibilities/Position Purpose: Greeting and escorting guests to tables in the restaurant, monitoring the restaurant and all associates, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction. Monitor restaurant phone lines and provide guest service in accordance with Trump National Doral-Miami standards.

- Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu.
- Read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
- Participate in daily "pre-shift meetings" to keep informed of current promotions, daily specials, guest comments, daily events and pertinent memos.
- Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
- Assume role of restaurant or bar server when circumstances require.
- Perform opening and closing duties. Assist others with side work to include cleaning, stocking, and folding napkins.
- Perform other duties as requested, such as carrying coffee and/or tea pots throughout outlet, refilling guests' cups as requested, handling special guest requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain an open line of communication between guests, management, and service associate.
- Attend required meetings and regularly contribute to the educational and communication process.
- Assist in inventory process, as instructed by superiors.
- Assist in the general cleaning of the dining room, bar and public areas.
- Monitor the cleanliness and physical condition of outlet menus; assist in editing and printing of menus.
- Must adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to insure all laws are being followed.
- Safety Shoes (slip resistant) preferred
- Use of gloves (latex, vinyl, plastic, fabric. Metal)
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, to include appropriate staffing levels, service equipment and guest relations.
- Ability to read the English language to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials.
- Ability to communicate orally and verbally in English with associate and outside entities.
- Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
- Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests.
- Willingness and ability to taste food items relevant to the menu.
- Ability to effectively deal with guest complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the guest and providing positive and proactive solutions.
