This role requires strong financial analysis skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesBudget Planning & ManagementDevelop and manage annual and multi-year budgetsMonitor budget performance and track expendituresAnalyze variances and provide recommendationsFinancial Analysis & ReportingPrepare financial reports, forecasts, and projectionsConduct cost analysis and identify trendsProvide insights to support strategic decision-makingForecasting & StrategyAssist in financial planning and long-term forecastingEvaluate financial risks and opportunitiesSupport leadership in budget strategy and planningStakeholder CollaborationWork with department heads to develop budget plansPresent financial data and recommendations to leadershipEnsure alignment with organizational goalsCompliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with financial policies and regulationsMaintain internal controls and audit readinessSupport internal and external auditsMust-Have QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of budgeting or financial management experience Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, Pivot Tables, formulas) Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree or MBA (Preferred) Experience in public sector or government budgeting Experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.) Strong presentation and communication skills
