Design Practice Manager

Requisition ID: 44560BR Business Unit: COR Job Description CDM Smith is searching for a talented Design Practice Manager to lead our Digital Engineering Solutions team. This pivotal role will drive our digital transformation initiatives by strategically implementing advanced digital design tools, technologies, and processes that enhance our architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) workflows. Responsibilities Leading the Design Practice group to promote digital enablement programs that optimize design workflows. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration of various technologies and communicating project goals to stakeholders. Establishing standards, workflows, and training programs to champion the adoption of digital design technologies across the organization. Managing and mentoring a team of design practice specialists by creating an inspiring work environment that promotes teamwork and communication. Assisting with the development of documentation and best practices related to design technology. Presenting insights and results to both internal and external audiences as required. Participating in marketing and business development efforts from a technology perspective. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 10 years of related experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Civil 3D for transportation projects. Proficiency in Bentley design tools such as OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation.
