Material Handler - 2nd and 3rd Shift

Co. comes with a family friendly culture, on-the-job training, advancement opportunities, and the chance to make a difference every single day.Responsibilities:Positions could fall under Factory, Shipping, or Receiving Material HandlerMoving materials within the plant.Assist with daily cycle counts.Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for material or other stock items and distribute to the production cells.Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, trays and shelves by hand or with hand jack or fork truck.Loads and operates baler.Bands bales and moves with fork truck.Operates scales, use tare weights and verify inventory.Cleans work area and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Uses computer, tablet and/or completes paperwork in order to enter and track information on items shipped, received or moved to or from inventory.Assembles customer orders from stock and places order on pallet, stretch wraps the order and marks material with identifying information and/or shipping labels.Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes proper labels.Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.Operates various material handling and packing equipment.Assemble, process and ship customer orders.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentStrong organizational and communication skillsTeam PlayerWage and Benefits:Wages start at $19.89 with increases every 6 months as you move up the wage scale.Shift Differential - $1.50 for 2nd Shift.$2000 Retention Bonus - $500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days, and $1000 at 365 days of employment.Excellent benefit package offered.Benefits:Benefits include major medical (BCBS), Delta dental and vision, company sponsored basic life insurance and short-term disability.
