Why consider this job opportunityOpportunity for competitive compensation packages, including a base salary and 401K matchFlexible work hours and an open PTO policyWork remotely from anywhere in the USAEngage with a transparent Executive Leadership TeamContribute to the development of innovative renewable infrastructure solutionsResponsibilitiesAssist in daily trading execution and administrative tasks under the VP of Trading & RiskAnalyze market performance and develop fundamentals-based price forecasts for ERCOT & ISO-NEGather and analyze market data to optimize battery energy storage system (BESS) trading strategiesDeliver training on trading procedures and ensure compliance with operational protocolsTrack and assess market rule changes in ERCOT and ISO-NE to evaluate their impact on trading strategiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science preferred)Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, with a preference for power settlement experience, especially in ERCOT and ISO-NEProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to draw conclusions from complex datasetsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across diverse teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Python, SQL, and PowerBIFamiliarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS)RenewableEnergy #EnergyTrading #RemoteWork #CareerGrowth #CompetitiveCompensationWe prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
