Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Fleet Readiness in Matteson IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid drivers license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors vendors and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces exterior grounds parking areas access points and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access control points verify authorization in accordance with site procedures and assist with visitor management and delivery coordination.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs incident documentation and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
