Staff Computational Biologist

Seeking a seasoned Staff Computational Biologist, this remote position will lead the analysis and interpretation of cancer's molecular signatures, develop models for biological changes, and execute computational analyses on high-throughput genomic data. Key responsibilities: Serve as a thought leader on the Computational Science team, guiding the analysis of cancer molecular signatures Develop and execute computational models and analyses for various genomic data types Collaborate with molecular biologists and development scientists to refine experiments and translate research into products Required qualifications: PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant quantitative field such as computational biology or bioinformatics At least 8 years of post-PhD experience in applying computational techniques for biological discovery, preferably in cancer or diagnostics Deep expertise in cancer and molecular biology, with a focus on computational biology applications Extensive experience with high-throughput genomic data analysis and model development Proficiency in Python and relevant statistical and modeling packages
