In this role, you will work at the intersection of research, engineering, and manufacturing to develop next-generation electronic components and advanced materials solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the entire innovation cycle, from concept development and experimental design to pilot-scale implementation and manufacturing launch. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across R&D, engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing to bring new technologies from the laboratory to commercial reality. Whether your background is in advanced materials, manufacturing, semiconductor processing, automation, product development, electrochemistry, reliability engineering, or process engineering, we encourage you to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical development projects from concept through implementation.Design, plan, and execute experiments to evaluate new products, materials, and manufacturing processes.Analyze data, draw technical conclusions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.Explore and evaluate emerging technologies that enable next-generation capacitor and materials solutions.Collaborate with engineers, scientists, technicians, machinist, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative products and processes.Work with a dedicated lab facility, pilot manufacturing equipment, and automation systems with support from advanced analytical groups and multidisciplinary technical teams.Develop and optimize testing methods, process controls, and performance evaluation techniques.Support scale-up activities from laboratory and pilot operations to full manufacturing implementation.Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products, processes, and manufacturing capabilities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Typically 5+ years of experience in engineering, product development, manufacturing, R&D or related technical fields, although exceptional candidates are encouraged to apply.Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and driving results in a collaborative environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Effective verbal, written, and technical communication skills.Ability to work across multiple disciplines and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.Location & Work TypeSimpsonville, SC – United StatesFull TimeThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
