Food Services Representative I-Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center-Per Diem

Job Title : Food Service Associate – Hospital Nutrition Responsibilities Prepare and/or serve a wide range of foods and beverages in a hospital setting, including salad items, hot foods, cold foods, and bakery items. Serve patients and other dining area patrons, handling tray lines and assisting with feed services in admitted patient departments. Assemble and deliver meal trays for patients, restock items on workstations, collect soiled dishes, remove trash, and wash, sanitize, and restock flatware and silverware. Interact with patients to take meal orders and deliver meal trays. Monitor patient and retail food lines, test trays for quality, temperature, and food safety. Inform department leadership of any safety issues on units, cafeteria, or in kitchen. Maintain the high standards of AHS in creating appealing presentation and food preparation. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of experience directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities. Preferred Some experience in customer service. Position is eligible for the Atlantic Health System #teenhiring initiative. High School Diploma or GED required or will be obtained within 2 years of employment. 16 or 17 year‑olds must have valid working papers.
