Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Repligen seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead technical projects for Marlborough-based product lines. The role combines project management, cross-functional collaboration, and electro-mechanical engineering to support manufacturing readiness, process stability, and technology transfer in an ISO-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing engineering projects from scope definition through execution with timeline and risk management
Partner with cross-functional teams as technical lead for assigned systems, hardware builds, and process improvements
Review and provide technical feedback on design documents, schematics, and technical specifications
Manage creation and release of manufacturing documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and batch records
Identify, investigate, and resolve process, quality, and manufacturability issues for assigned products

Requirements

BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
5-7+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, systems build, or regulated product development
Demonstrated project management capability including planning, scheduling, and cross-functional execution
Strong electro-mechanical aptitude for hardware, systems assemblies, and complex system troubleshooting
Familiarity with engineering documentation (P&IDs, URS, schematics, drawings, SOPs, batch records)
SolidWorks experience with component and assembly drawings preferred
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment skills

Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 base
