Food Service Assistant

Under the direction of an assigned administrator or supervisor, assist in quantity preparation, serving and selling of foods at an assigned school site; maintain food service facilities and equipment in a neat, clean, safe and sanitary condition; perform other job-related duties as assigned and/or required.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and experience: no educational requirements. No experience required. Licenses, certifications and other requirements: County approved Food Handlers Card is required at the time of employment and must be renewed every three years. The foreign transcripts must be evaluated by one of the approved organizations, listed on the Rialto Unified School District website, in order to be accepted. These organizations are private enterprises who charge a fee for their services. Individuals pursuing a foreign transcript evaluation must follow the procedures outlined by the organization providing the evaluation. In all instances, original, official documentation will be required when requesting the evaluation.
