Revenue Operations Specialist (SaaS)

Apply hands-on SaaS revenue operations expertise to improve operational effectiveness and data integrity while providing real-world input that helps train next-generation AI systems. This remote contract opportunity supports a customer project in complex SaaS environments, with particular relevance to regulated or multi-product businesses. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Assess and refine CRM data models to meet evolving sales, customer success, and revenue operations needs.
• Identify, arbitrate, and document resolutions to conflicting operational policies, including the reasoning and tradeoffs behind each decision.
• Design and validate compliance-constrained workflows for SaaS revenue processes and applicable vertical-specific regulations.
• Diagnose and resolve revenue data integrity gaps to support accurate reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
• Provide detailed process walkthroughs based on personal system configuration experience, highlighting key decisions and lessons learned.
• Contribute written and verbal insights to scenario-based operational training tasks in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Recommend scalable system improvements that support compliance and cross-functional alignment.

• At least 4 years of direct, hands-on experience in SaaS revenue, sales, customer success, or implementation operations. Adjacent or management-only experience does not meet this requirement.
• Proven ownership and configuration experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or a similar CRM.
• Experience using at least two additional revenue tools, such as billing, CPQ, ticketing, or project-tracking systems.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve policy conflicts and clearly explain operational tradeoffs in complex, highly regulated environments. Experience in fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or similar fields is strongly preferred.
• Strong judgment in making and justifying process decisions where regulations, business needs, and operating rules intersect.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting logic and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing processes for regulated industries or multi-product SaaS implementations, with attention to compliance and reporting accuracy.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, determining what to change or keep stable, and explaining the rationale for each decision.
