Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 7A - 7P

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery provides care for mothers and newborns. The position involves routine assessments, fetal monitoring, and other critical nursing functions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine assessments and vital signs monitoring.
• Perform fetal monitoring.
• Administer finger sticks as needed.
• Provide support during labor and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, IFM certifications are required.
• Experience with CPN and Meditech software is preferred.
• Labor & Delivery experience is a plus.
