Experience working with young children is preferred. Responsibilities: Working under the direction of a certified teacher, provide support services to the classroom, including: Prepare instructional materials Instruct/supervise students Perform clerical tasks Experience in a variety of special education settings is preferred, specifically self-contained environments that require assistance with physical needs (feeding, toileting, lifting, and mobility), health care procedures, behavioral management, and support addressing social-emotional needs.
