Housekeeper (Health Center) Per Diem

Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition * Must be able to identify and report need for repairs, unsafe conditions and respond appropriately in emergency situations * Works in areas occupied by patients with known infectious diseases and will handle and transport infectious waste

• Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
• Conducts routine inspections of own area of assignment to ensure that

departmental quality standards are achieved and maintained Minimum Requirements: * One year of previous experience working in an institutional/health care housekeeping environment, preferred

• Ability to communicate at a basic level, orally and in writing, in English
• Ability to measure and proportion cleaning chemicals and solvents and

calculate linen and supplies needed for work assignment

• Ability to work independently, without direct supervision
• Able to meet physical demands of position: Push and pull carts and equipment,

up to 100 lbs. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * Able to use necessary cleaning equipment including: carpet cleaning equipment, wet and dry vacuum

• Able to measure and proportion cleaning chemicals and solvents
• Able to calculate the amount of linen and supplies needed for work assignment
• Able to pass background checks for a licensed community
• Able to wear personal protective equipment including masks and gloves as
