Med Lab Technologist / Med Lab Scientist

This is a 13-week contract position.

8-hour nights, 11 PM - 7:30 AM, 5 days a week.

We are seeking a qualified Med Lab Technologist or Med Lab Scientist with at least 2 years of recent experience in a specialty environment. The candidate will be expected to work in a high-volume laboratory setting, perform various laboratory tests, and manage complex samples efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests and analyze results.
• Accurately manage and process complex samples including turbid specimens and abnormal cell findings.
• Utilize Sysmex and CellaVision systems as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
• Handle differential analysis in neonatal units and other areas with precision.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within laboratory specialty.
• Experience with Cerner systems.
• Certifications: ASCP, AMT, AAB required.
• Only Med Lab Technologists and Med Lab Scientists will be considered; Med Lab Technicians are not eligible.
• Familiarity with large hospital laboratory environments (600+ beds) preferred.
