Quick Lube Technician

Quick Lube TechnicianWe are looking for a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive and ASE certification or technical degree is a plus. The day-to-day duties of this role include testing check systems to ensure they are working properly, driving vehicles for test purposes, and accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid time offOpportunities for advancementEmployee discountsResponsibilitiesTest to check systems and components are secure and working properlyIsolate the systems or components that might have caused the problemDrive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessaryEnsure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as neededInstall a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammatesMaintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehiclesRepair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damageUse power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasksQualificationsDeep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilitiesEffective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improveAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsAbility to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentHigh School Diploma or GED (required)ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)One year in a service departmentValid driver’s license and clean driving recordSerpentini Auto Group has proudly been serving the Greater Cleveland region for over 40 years with our 6 locations in Strongsville, Medina, Orrville, Westlake, Tallmadge, and Willoughby Hills.
