Duties * Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in both new construction and existing structures * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects * Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for pipe threading, fitting installation, welding, and assembly tasks * Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials while adhering to safety protocols * Conduct remodeling and remodeling-related plumbing work to upgrade or replace existing systems * Diagnose mechanical issues related to plumbing infrastructure * Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for each project Requirements * Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards * Hands-on experience with construction site work, including heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques * Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks * Familiarity with carpentry skills useful for remodeling or assembly projects. * Strong problem-solving skills with maintenance person experience or general remodeling background preferred * Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites while maintaining high safety standards
